Maile Graduates Aubrey Peeples and Stefanie Scott to star in ‘Jem and The Holograms’ Movie

Exciting news for acting graduates Aubrey Peeples and Stefanie Scott! They have both been cast to star in ‘Jem and The Holograms’ the movie.  Aubrey will play the lead of “Jem” aka “Jerrica” and Stefanie will play her younger sister and Hologram member “Kimber”.

Based on the 1980s Hasbro toy line that was also a beloved cartoon, the film will be produced by Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions, Scooter Braun Productions and Chu. The cartoon ran from 1985 to 1988 and chronicled the adventures of Jerrica Benton and her alter ego, Jem, a singer who fronted a band called The Holograms.

We are excited to see these talented actresses on the big screen as they show off their musical talents. Pictured top left is a teaser poster for the movie. #JEMTHEMOVIE We will keep you updated on the movie’s release date as they are currently shooting. This is sure to be a “truly outrageous” film!

Aubrey Peeples

Stefanie Scott

Stefanie Scott is well known for her role of “Lexi Reed” on Disney’s A.N.T. Farm.  She also had a recurring role on Law and Order SVU, starred in Disney’s Frenemies and did voiceover work for Disney’s Wreck It Ralph to name a few.  Stefanie currently has a song available on iTunes titled “I Don’t Want To Let You Go”.
