Spencer Locke
Maile School acting grad Spencer Locke to star in Netflix’s Walk. Ride. Rodeo.
The incredible true story of nationally ranked barrel racer Amberley Snyder, who at 19 barely survives an automobile accident. Now paralyzed from the waist down, Amberley, with the support of her family, physical therapy and her own inspiring determination, fights to earn back her place in the sport she loves.
Spencer was born in 1991 right here in Winter Park. She attended the on camera acting program at The Maile Acting School at an early and began working in the industry.
At the age of 11 years old Spencer and her family went to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams. Within a year’s time, she booked a guest starring role on CBS’s Without A Trace and a role in Sony Pictures’ feature film Spanglish that starred Adam Sandler. Shortly thereafter, Spencer began recurring as Bitsy on the Nickelodeon hit series “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.
In 2004, Spencer booked the role of Jenny in Sony Pictures / Imagemovers feature film, Monster House. Producers were Robert Zemeckis, Steven Speilberg and director Gil Kenan.
At the age of 14, Spencer booked the lead role of K-Mart in Resident Evil: Extinction. Her character lived to see the 4th installment, Resident Evil: Afterlife.
Spencer had guest starring roles in many television shows such as Cougar Town that starred Courtney Cox, In Plain Sight, Vampire Diaries, Cold Case, Hawaii Five-O and Rosewood to name a few. She also filmed movies for Lifetime called Bling Ring and Babysitters Black Book.
