The Maile School is excited to announce acting graduate Leah Lewis in her star role of “The Half of It” now streaming on Netflix. This original series follows the life of Ellie Chu a quiet, kept to herself high schooler with impeccable grades who’s then hired by a jock named Paul Munsky (played by Daniel Diemer) who needs help winning over his crush.

An issue arises for the unlikely duo when Ellie finds herself also falling for the girl. Leah who is now 23, is a triple threat with dancing singing and acting. She has made an appearance on The Voice as well as her role on the CW’s Nancy Drew as “George Fan.” Prior to this she was on Charmed as Angela Wu.
