Maile School Star Graduate:
Jenny Rosario de Casiano
Jenny Rosario was born and raised in the Bronx, New York by a single mom who was a stylist. Her mom eventually married a Magician and together they traveled and worked internationally. Jenny’s parents inspired her creativity. She began her career in film production and graduated from Valencia College with a degree in Film Production Technology. Jenny worked behind the scenes in production for ten years. She owned and operated a small production company, Rmarcfilms and began her career as a set P.A. and moved on to other positions such as make-up, wardrobe and the art department. She then fell into writing, producing and directing for a T.V. Network in Miami for several years.
She was originally discovered by the Ms. Latina USA beauty pageant system and began bringing home pageant titles such as Ms. Latina Florida, Ms. Latina International and most recently, Ms. International World. Jenny was recruited to hosting on stage and acting in front of the camera so she started taking acting classes in college and here at The Maile School.
After a life-altering car accident, which led Jenny to spending a year in a wheel chair and a year and a half on walking devices, having to learn how to walk again, she took a break from production and focused on healing and studying.
Once Jenny regained her strength she re-entered the entertainment scene and began doing commercial and print work both in Central Florida and internationally. Some of her work includes Princess Carnival Cruises, a cover and centerfold of BLVD Sarasota Magazine, on location reporting for Florida National News. Commercials for Taco John’s, Fresh From Florida Blueberries, Unison Sleep Aid, New You med Spa and in the upcoming Independent Film, No Place in this World, to name a few. Jenny’s goal is to continue with her commercial acting career and to further develop her film and television career.
We are so happy for Jenny on all of her industry success.
